Terms and Conditions
The price for hotel accommodation
includes the booked meals as well as cleaning and linen and towel change.
The price for holiday homes, villas and
apartments includes cleaning, electricity, water and gas, bed linen and towels
unless otherwise noted, pool cleaning and maintenance where necessary, and a
rental car (for more information see car rental and categories).
Please note that unless otherwise
stated, the prices are per unit and not per person; in hotels the price is per
room. The accommodation can
lodge up to the maximum number of persons as shown in the description, whereby
bedding for persons beyond the optimal occupancy can be a traditional couch/sofa
bed or a separate bed.
We have carefully selected and visited
our range of accommodation in order to provide a description, which is as
accurate as possible. Following are a few helpful explanations:

a bedroom or a double room is furnished with a double bed
or 2 singles, which stand either together or separately. In some cases a
baby cot or an extra bed can be made with extra charge. The extra bed can be
either a couch, a sofa or a traditional style couch/bed.
Beds can vary from accommodation
to accommodation. Following are the different types, which are always stated in
the description.
Single
Bed: for maximum 1 person (single beds can stand
next to each other or separately), 100 x 190 cm.
Double
Bed: for maximum 2 persons, 140 x 190 cm.
Queen
Size: for maximum 2 persons, 160 x 200 cm.
King Size:
for maximum 2 persons, 200 x 200 cm.
Bunk Bed:
for 2 x 1 person, 2 beds one above the other
Separate
bed(s): bed for maximum 1 person whereby the size
can vary from the single bed norm.
Four-Poster Bed: These are normally the same size
as a standard double.
Folding
Bed: for maximum 1 person
Sofa Bed:
for maximum 1 person. Seating, which can also be used as a bed.
Pull-Out
Sofa Bed: for maximum 2 persons. Seating, which
can also be used for sleeping with a pull-out bed for the 2nd person.
Traditional Couch/Bed: for maximum 1 person.
Seating in traditional country style, which can also be used as a bed.
Futon-Sofa
Bed: for maximum 1 or 2 persons.

| Following are a few explanations about
furnishings and fittings and the indoor/outdoor areas: |
|
- Kitchen:
contains sink, refrigerator, cooker or cooking rings,
saucepans, crockery and cutlery for the given number of persons. In some
cases the kitchen forms part of the living area and is mentioned in the
description.
- Kitchenette:
has the same facilities but is smaller and is part of the living area.
- Living Room:
is sufficiently furnished for the given number of persons.
- Television:
Television in accommodation is shown in the description as either TV or
SAT-TV (satellite TV).
- Bathroom:
always fitted with shower/WC or bath/WC and hand basin.
- Outdoor Equipment:
Here the outdoor facilities are described (e.g. garden,
parking area, BBQ, etc). Holiday homes with swimming pool usually provide
sun beds and umbrellas.
- Indoor Area:
Hotels normally have a reception but which is not necessarily manned 24
hours. This is mentioned in the description.

- BB:
breakfast is provided in continental, enriched or
American style, which can either be served or offered as buffet.
- HB:
Breakfast and one warm meal per day (normally dinner)
- FB:
Breakfast and two meals per day from which one must be warm.
- AI:
(All Inclusive) In addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner coffee and cake
or ice cream is served at specific times of the day. Drinks are normally
local products. The All Inclusive content, drinks, meals (and times) can
vary from hotel to hotel.

The accommodation is normally ready for
occupation at 14:00 on the day of arrival. We ask you to be patient if arriving
before this time and have to wait a while for the room. Please understand that
on departure the room must be vacated by 12:00 as thorough cleaning takes time.

|
The frequency of cleaning varies from
accommodation to accommodation but normally includes floors and WC as well as
bed making. Guests are responsible for their own washing and washing up. Bed
lined and towels are provided but towels are not to be used for the beach. In
some hotels beach towels are provided against deposit. In this case it is
mentioned in the description.

| Fireplace/Central Heating/Air Conditioning : |
|
Please note that in country houses with
fireplace the cost for wood is mostly not included and in some types of
accommodation a charge is raised for central heating or air conditioning.
|
|
Guests are obliged to report any damages
to indoor/outdoor furnishings and fittings to the reception, the hotel manager
or house owner and will be responsible for any eventual charges. Damages, which
are not reported during the stay and for which the owner makes a claim (up to 2
days after departure), will be later invoiced to the guest.
|
|
Pets are not allowed in every
accommodation. In cases, where there are exceptions, it is mentioned in the
description. Non-compliance can lead to refusal of occupancy of the booked
accommodation. Guests are personally responsible for obtaining regulations
regarding the import of animals. Generally, pets are forbidden in swimming pools
for hygienic reasons, and any damage caused by pets is to be reported
immediately to the reception, the hotel manager or the house owner. Pet owners
will be required to cover the costs of any damage (see DAMAGES)

| Guarantee of Information : |
|
Information regarding accommodation has
been prepared to the best of our knowledge. However, we cannot guarantee the
correctness of the information when hotel managers or house owners have not
informed us of any changes to their properties.
|
|
Information regarding public services
such as shops, restaurants, museums, water sports, public transport etc is given
just as a guide as services can change without warning during the low season
periods.
|
|
As most holiday homes and villas are far
away from large towns, a rental car is included in the holiday packet. In order
to provide more mobility to a hotel stay, you can also book a rental car. You
can collect this at the airport on the day of arrival and leave it there on
departure.
If you do not want a rental care, we can
organise a taxi transfer for you from the airport to your accommodation (ask for
our taxi transfer rates!).
When choosing a rental car, please
consider whether the luggage space will be sufficient.
When booking accommodation to include a
rental car, Beeinnet.com acts only as agent concerning the car but will
negotiate the best price and conditions. The car rental contract will be
completed with the agency locally.

The minimum rental period is 3 days.
|
| Price and returning obligation |
|
The basic rate is calculated in units of 24 hours, with a margin of 4 hours (Exceptions: Athens and Thessaloniki: 90 minutes) taken into consideration for the return of the vehicle. The rate for one day will be charged for return beyond this time.
|
|
Payment is made via a secure website using either Visa or MasterCard and in co-operation with Eurobank-Greece, which will also validate your credit card details. CarRentalGreece will verify your booking details and arrange for the due amount to be charged to your credit card. By missing or false booking information the transaction will be deactivated and you will receive an e-mail notification.
|
|
In case of customer cancellation one month before arrival, 100% of amount already paid will be refunded; up to 2 weeks before arrival, 50% and less than 2 weeks before arrival there will be no refund.
|
|
We guarantee the delivery of a rental car within the chosen category. We do not accept reservations for a particular make of car and reserve the right to change the category in exceptional cases.
|
|
Rates include the following:
a. unlimited kilometres
b. taxes
c. Cars in the categories H, F, G and L carry an excess of 400 Euro for damages incurred by self-caused accidents. All other categories are without excess.
d. third party liability including insurance for occupants.
i. Death or 3rd party injury
ii. 3rd party material damages
iii. Fire damage
e. theft, and damage caused by theft and vandalism (as long as the renter presents a police report). *Cases of gross negligence on the part of the renter, which lead to theft, damage and vandalism, (e.g. leaving key in the car) prohibit the provision of a substitute vehicle and the refund of original rental charges, and are not covered by insurance.
Sums insured are determined by Greek/European regulations.
f. 24-hour breakdown service. Substitution of the vehicle within 48 hours in case of accident or breakdown. Accidents and collisions are to be reported within 24 hours.

a. Tyre and Chassis Insurance at a cost of 3.69 € per day
b. Child Seat 3 € per day, payable on delivery of the vehicle.

| Deliveries and collections |
|
TO ALL STATIONS ON CRETE / RHODES / CORFU / HALKIDIKI:
i. Free delivery / collection between 07:00 and 22:00 hrs at the airports, ports and towns with CarRentalGreece stations. Between 22:00 and 07:00 hrs a supplement of 15 € will be charged, which is to be paid directly to CarRentalGreece locally.
ii. Free delivery / collection between 08:30 and 20:00 hrs to / from all hotels and towns within 20 km from the next CarRentalGreece station.
iii. Deliveries to or collections from hotels and places within 20 – 50 km from the nearest CarRentalGreece station are only possible between 08:30 and 20:00 hrs. A supplement of 20 € per journey will be raised, which is to be paid directly to CarRentalGreece locally.
iv.Deliveries to or collections from hotels and places within 50 – 100 km from the nearest CarRentalGreece station are only possible between 08:30 and 20:00 hrs. A supplement of 30 € per journey will be raised, which is to be paid directly to CarRentalGreece locally.
v.
. Deliveries to or collections from hotels and places, which are more than 100 km from the nearest CarRentalGreece station, are only possible on request and with extra charge. Please contact us per email under: info@carrentalgreece.gr for further information regarding delivery and extra charges.
TO OUR STATIONS IN ATHENS AND THESSALONIKI:
i. Free delivery /collection between 07:00 and 22:00 hrs at the airports and CarRentalGreece stations. Between 22:00 and 07:00 hrs a supplement of 25€ will be charged, which is to be paid directly to CarRentalGreece locally.
ii. Delivery / collection to / from hotels or other places (except airports and CarRentalGreece stations) is only possible on request and at extra charge. Please contact us at info@carrentalgreece.gr for further information about delivery / collection possibilities and supplements.
MEETING POINT FOR TAKEOVER/RETURN OF RENTAL CAR:
Airport Heraklion:
Upon arrival at the airport please report to our desk Nr. 26, which is located outside the arrival hall.
Airport Athens:
After arrival at Athens airport please go to Exit B5.
Next to the exit B5 you will find the bus park P4. Here you will find our Autocandia shuttle bus (every 10 – 15 minutes), which will bring you to our station (ca. 7km from the airport, driving time approx. 7 minutes).
Airport Thessaloniki:
After arrival at Thessaloniki airport please make your way to departure area B (there is a lift for your convenience).
At the car park opposite you will find our Autocandia shuttle bus, which will bring you to our station, ca. 2km outside the airport.
All other airports and ports:
You will be met at the exit of the safety area by a representative with a sign bearing your name.
Deliveries to hotels:

a. If the wrong grade of petrol is filled, the renter will be required to pay for repairs caused by his/her negligence. The sum already paid for a full tank of petrol is not transferable to a substitute vehicle.
b. By loss of the key or remote control, the renter will be required to pay for a replacement. Price is dependant on dealer and make of car.
c. Damage to rims or soft tops and cigarette burns inside the car are not covered by the insurance. Any such damages are to be reported on the signed incidence form when handing back the car. A charge will be raised accordingly.

Petrol costs will be paid by the renter. Cars will be delivered with a full tank and are to be returned empty. The cost for the full tank of petrol is to be paid by the client on delivery of the car.

STATIONS OUTSIDE OF CRETE:
On delivery of the rental car the level of petrol in the tank will be recorded in the contract. The rental car is to be returned with the same level. If the amount of petrol is insufficient on handover, the difference will be estimated and is to be paid on the spot.

For drivers of category A & B cars, the minimum age requirement is 21 years and for all other categories, 23 years. He/she must have held a valid driving licence for at least 12 months.
|
|
Administrative sanctions resulting from traffic violations incurred during the rental period are at the expense of the renter.
|
| Territorial use of a rental car |
|
The use of a rental car is without exception only allowed within the state territory of Greece. It is not permitted to take the car out of Greece. By car rental on one of the Greek islands it is generally only permitted to drive the car on the same island. The car may not leave the island. It is not allowed to take rental cars from the mainland to the islands.

At all stations a deposit of 400 Euro in cash or a credit card transaction receipt is necessary.
|
|
| Online Reservation and Payment Conditions : |
|
Hotels: reservations can be made
according to availability only with use of a credit card. Details given at the
time of booking allow us to deduct the amount from your credit card.
Holiday homes/apartments and villas: you
can make a request for availability for the period of your choice. Within 24
hours you will receive from us confirmation of availability, whereby you are
given a booking option of 2-3 days. Within this period please let us know if you
wish to complete the booking. In case of booking you will receive confirmation
and payment details.

To debit your credit card with the due
amount we use only the most modern coded, safety system in order to guarantee
data protection. Payment is made through a secure website with Visa or
MasterCard in co-operation with Eurobank-Greece, which will also verify the card
details. By missing or false booking information, your data will be deactivated
and you will be informed by e-mail or telephone (where possible). We guarantee
that all your personal data will be handled with the utmost discretion and that
no information will be given to third parties.

As soon as your credit card details have
been verified by the bank and the amount debited, you will receive your travel
documents (voucher) by e-mail. Depending on the travel packet or service, please
hand over the voucher on arrival (e.g. hand over of car rental voucher when
making contract, hotel voucher to the reception on arrival).

|
If you wish to extend your stay we will
always try to help, but an extension is not always possible.
|
| Early/Premature Departure : |
|
If you wish to discontinue your stay for
any reason and leave early, you will have no claim to a possible refund.
|
|
For cancellations made by guests (during
the period before arrival as shown below), we will withhold the following
amounts:
- Up to 8 weeks = 0%
- 8-6 weeks = 25%
- 6-4 weeks = 50%
- 4-2 weeks = 74%
- less than 2 weeks = 100%
